U.S. Navy Building 475 is located at Zelatched Point near the end of the Toandos Peninsula. The Zelatched Point facility is used to manage the Dabob Bay torpedo tracking range. Due to the remote site the facility needs up-to-date fire protection systems. A recent project by Wood Harbinger, an engineering firm, replaced the Halon 1301 fire extinguishing system in the communications building with a new clean agent fire extinguishing system to protect the 2,500 SF computer room space.
Quilcene Fire Rescue is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
