Washington State Department of Natural Resouces (DNR) and East Jefferson Fire Rescue (EJFR) will be hosting a booth at the Port Townsend Farmers Market 9am to 2pm on May 4, 2024 in uptown Port Townsend as part of the Wildfire Community Preparedness Day campaign. 

Wildfire season may arrive early this year. According to the Western Regional Climate Center, our area is measuring 7.31 inches below average in rainfall as of April 20th.
