Nick Singleton
Lieutenant Singleton is C Shift Company Officer. Born in Sacramento, CA, Nick moved to Jefferson County at the age of seven with his mother and grandparents. A 2013 graduate of Chimacum High School, he knew early on that he wanted a career in medicine. He earned his EMT certification in 2014 and began volunteering with Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue, Brinnon Fire Department, and Quilcene Fire Rescue—where he received training in both structural and wildland firefighting. Nick is passionate about rural medicine, structural and wildland fire service, and continuing education. In 2017, he was hired full-time with Quilcene Fire Rescue and currently serves as the C-Shift Lieutenant.
In addition to his operational duties, Nick is responsible for the department’s personal protective equipment (PPE), hose, ladders, small engines and equipment, and oversees the wildland program. He serves as the chair of the Training Subcommittee for the Jefferson County EMS Council and previously served as chair of Quilcene Fire's Safety Committee for three years.
He and his fiancée reside in Jefferson County and remain actively involved in the local community.
