Art has served as an EMT and a volunteer for Quilcene Fire Rescue and currently works as a deputy for the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Previously, he was a detective with the Glendale Police Department in California. After moving to Quilcene, Art looked for ways to continue his life in public service and make a contribution to his community. Art currently serves as Board Chair.
